Has anyone dealt with the Marsden building society?

Hi,
Basically as the title says, also how long do they usually take or them to give you a decision when it goes to the underwriters. Has anyone had bad dealings with them?

This question arrises non stop on here. It's like asking 'how long will the police take to process my case?'

The thing is no two cases are the same and one piece of info can give rise to another and so on. It's like a branching tree.

All I can say is they may take anything from 1 week to 9 months (the record for me). I suppose an average is about 6 weeks but again there are infinite possibilities in every application.

That is a big record, I wonder if anyone has broken it yet...

Thanks for the reply conrad. I should have been clearer. The lender has all my documents and their survey carried out. It now in the underwriters hands. When do you think i will know their decision?

If I were forced to guess, and of course it can only be a random guess, a few days.
Thier job is too find any points that need further clarification and that of course is impossible to quantify.

Why the rush?
