Good Morning everyone! I hope the weather is fab wherever you are.
Let us know what small steps you will be taking today on your quest towards being debt free - these may be things like taking a packed lunch to work or charging your phone at work instead of at home etc
Every little helps, as Mr T says, so be proud, and post here!
Today I have/will be:
- reduced the number of hours my heating is on, and may turn it off completely
- count my small change jar to see if I can bag anything up
- having a NSD
- doing a storecupboard lunch and dinner
- continuing the quest for cheaper mobile phone tariff!
Have a good day, everyone x

So far today I have....
Bought 3 summer work shirts and four summer skirts from charity shops in town for £17.98 - bargin!
Used £35 of Boots vouchers I got free from doing surveys and pigsback on shampoo, soap, toothpaste etc. I will not need to stock up on anything for months, was given 48p change, saved £11.50 due to BOGOF offers and was given points as a bonus, so now have over £10 on my advantage card. That is my idea of good shopping:j :j

Hi Guys
Found this thread today - thought I would add my bit.
I am staying in all day working on uni assignment (which is so sad as it's just fab weather here)so NSD for me.
I will be starting on my trial for a new PT job (to add to my others!!) which can be done on PC - fingers crossed as it should earn me approx £100 a month if I am accepted.
I will not go out tonight.
Kids are with granny so when ice cream van comes round it won't cost me a penny :j

Evening chaps
Well today's efforts include:
* scabbing a lift from mum and work colleague
* making some fairy cakes from stuff I have in my cupboards
* transferring some money into my 'contingency fund'
* deciding not to go out tonight but stop in and watching some mate's play on DVD!
* am about to pay off my maintenance bill for leasehold on my flat
* accepting shift in 2nd job for Easter Sunday
* finding out that I have been offered an interview in 2nd job for permanent hours
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -

not a very good day for me, spent far more than I want to think about. Bought lunch at work rather than sandwiches - £3.35
Had to pay £4.20 to get to work as haven't got round to buying monthly travel pass.
panic bought 2 birthday presents and cards (no time to shop around to get a bargain) £20
On the plus side shopped in Aldi for tea as had friends for dinner spent £25 - but would have spent more if I'd gone to tesco.
Oh well it is easterProud to be dealing with my debts
