Hi guys,
Right my freind is blacklisted and full of CCJ's. Right now she is a homeowner with a mortgage, (she is also in her late 40s) that is quite high. She needs to borrow 10k to do up the place pay off a few bills and treat herself to a few things.

The bills are not just any old bills, council tax e.t.c

Now she can afford to re-pay 200 pounds a month.
But she is selling her home in two years and will pay the loan off then.

Now shes gone to some company called Loan Line. The repayments are 250 a month, and the total repayment is 15K. Now can she get a better deal with no penalty for early repayment.

Loan Line said there was no repayment penalty. But i am not so sure with those crooks.

So please guys, she does need the loan, To do the place up to sell it e.t.c and pay off bills, and give herself a treat.

But there must be a better loan shark out there?

Cheers
James

  • Has she tried the search site moneysupermarket? Has she read the threads on this site about budgeting, restructuring loans, etc.? Why does she need to borrow extra for treats?

Hi, Lloydm just so you know it is a myth about anyone being put on a black list. Your rating is just based on factual info on your report and obviously the CCJ's are the kiss of death to any file.

If she can afford £200 per month why not just pay her council tax bill?

She looks like very high risk to me and no normal lender would touch her and therefore she has to apply to scum sub prime lenders.

Why is she selling in 2 years? - where is she going to go?
Might be better to accept a lower offer on the property and not borrow in the first place.
