Well the title says it all really. Sorry to have a moan but I just want to talk to others who have been in the same position as me and will hopefully understand how I'm feeling today.
Bit by bit I am repaying my debts. Its going to take a hell of a long time but even the small amount I can afford to hand over helps.
Anyway, today the boiler started playing up again. Its under contract with British Gas and I await an engineer, but its 12 years old now and I worry they will refuse to fix it. If thats the case we are stuffed as we could never afford a replacement.
If I had enjoyed expensive holidays, nice car etc. with the money I owe it would sort of make the situation more bareable, Instead I'm still in debt and now have the prospect of many years of cold water and no heating ahead.
Sorry again for moaning, I just wanted to get it off my chest. Fingers crossed they can fix it!

Aw that's rubbish, it is so tough to keep going in the face of adversity. I'm sure you've already looked at the alternatives but could you qualify for the warm start grants and things? They helped us out a couple of years ago with a boiler and insulation in the loft. What other form of heating do you have available? I only had cold water for about ten years because of the boiler constantly breaking and not being able to get a new one - it is managable just restrictive - i got by with the aid of a dishwasher, washing machine and shower but it is a pain. Hope tomorrow looks brighter x0
