Noticed at the weekend Old Crafty Hen was £2.59 a bottle, or 4 for £5 (£1.25 a bottle :beer:)

This is brewed by Morland who also brew Old Speckled Hen, but old Crafty Hen is 6.5% ABV :beer:

This is a decent beer and thanks for posting the deal but Morland my rear-end! Greene King bought Morland and closed the brewery (in Oxford) years ago - this is yet another Bury St Edmunds product!

I am with CAMRA in insisting that in such circumstances they don't try and hide behind the old brand particularly when experience suggests that in many cases the relocated version does not taste (due to different water etc etc) like the original.....
