    Hey guys

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that's helped answer my questions. Did my first shop yesterday:

Due to the ASDA Price Guarantee, you're entitled to a voucher of £13.34:

11 items (8 different) on your bill qualify for comparison Waitrose
    +£13.01

    0.19 x ASDA Root Ginger by Weight (100g) £0.33 £0.45
    0.19 x ASDA Carrots by Weight (100g) £0.15 £0.17
    0.15 x ASDA Onions by Weight (100g) £0.14 £0.15
    0.17 x ASDA Braeburn Apples by Weight (100g) £0.31 £0.28
    0.15 x ASDA Royal Gala Apples by Weight (100g) £0.25 £0.28
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Instant Custard Mix (70g) £0.14 N/A
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Sponge Scourers (5) £0.14 N/A
    1 x Ambrosia Rice Pudding Original (120g) £0.40 £0.32
    4 x Weetabix Cereal (48x18g) £12.00 £1.28
    1 x Kellogg's Rice Krispies (510g) £2.68 £0.32

Comparison total (compared products only) £16.26 £3.25

Do I still need to buy the scourers and custard each time, as I think I have my at least 8 different items?

Had another question, how do you work out which toothpastes work or not? I saw in fudge_cake's post that the trigger item is Steradent original (buy in multiples of 3, everything compares to 66p/67p) but then how do you know which toothpastes to actually buy? Thanks.
You "could" knock off a couple of fillers and save , say, 25p, if it wrecks your shop it might cost £12/13, you choose.
