Robinsons Summer Edition Strawberries & Cream Flavour No Added Sugar (1L)
HTH
Really need to go to bed now, but needing advice. I am not an impulse buyer, I like to know how much things are and shop around, but today with OH in tow we spot a hotpoint condenser tumble dryer in b&q on clearance down from £319 to £159 + £20 delivery. My tumble dryer has been tripping out, so he of course tells me to just buy it.
When I am home and checking my bargain, which I can of course change my mind about. I find that nowhere seems to be selling it for more than £229. Now it is still cheaper, but I feel a bit mislead by their original price and can't help but feel if I had waited, I could have maybe got a better one. I like the ones that look like washing machines, not the ones with big white doors, like this one. But I suppose I am just being fussy and all that.
I don't want to upset the OH, but he doesn't do the washing.
Last week I had to buy a new washing machine as the bearings went, got a great one on comet clearance for less than the tumble dryer..only £176 delivered and old one taken away. Which is £269 new online and it is immaculate, so pleased with it.
I really don't know whether to cancel the order completely or not. Better sleep on it I suppose.0 -

This is very worrying. Far more more important than APGs. Let's all hope that she is found safe soon.0 -

Thank you.
The "search this thread" and "jump to page" boxes disappear on my iphone when I type anything in either of them for the first time. If I type into them a second time then both workApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Just went off to read some reviews and stuff, so it might be ok. Probably the shock of spending so much money in short space of time with a few BS orders chucked in too. :rotfl:
Goodnight to whoever is still around, gotta be up at 7am, will regret this in the morning.0 -
Out of interest, is anyone else keeping track of how much they are spending on this glitch? I ask as I did a few sums this evening and was surprised how much I have actually spent - what with starting off without an APG voucher for a few shops, messing a few up where items (or the whole shop due to messing up
) didn't match, and the difference between the APG voucher and overall spend due to fillers etc. Even a few pounds each time mounts up and I find generally either I stick with the voucher value, but the next one is lower value, or I spend more than the voucher to get a higher APG next time, in which case I have spent more up front again.
When you consider some of this is stuff that I wouldn't normally buy (so variations on cleaning products, more exotic choice of cereals, more expensive toothpastes etc) and the amount of time/petrol etc, I am beginning to question how much I am actually saving. A bargain is only a bargain if it is something that you would normally buy but cheaper :A.
That said, I don't think that we will need to buy any toothpaste, cereal or cleaning products for a while ....
Anon
I keep a spreadsheet of cost, what bought and when, so I use it all in proper rotation, I have a spreadsheet for pretty much everything! :rotfl:
In the whole of my September glitching, I spent £101.05 on 177 various toiletry items (approx. 57p per item), £25.34 on 50 various cleaning products/underjams (approx. 51p per item) and £ 5.96 on a total 20.75 litres of Robinson's squash (approx. 29p per litre)........
I consider that a pretty good deal:D:D Betcha no-one can beat THAT detailed a breakdown!!!
(not including about £20 of ballsed-up shops)

It's easy, every time I post up my APG results, I copy and paste them into an excel spreadsheet and it kind of keeps track of itself
EDIT: Oh and don't start me on storing stuff, I've had to put a whole new column on my spreadsheet so I know where everything is! :rotfl:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
