We have one asda 4 miles away that I have to do by bike, massive T's 10 mins walk away, massive S's 10 mins bike away, but Lidl & Aldi 2 mins walk!

I do find if I type just 'asda' in the search it doesn't come up for iPad, but it does if you type 'asda stores'. try that?

Morning all!

I'm not really up early, just away on hols and the time change means its 2 hours later here.

Managed to catch up from last night, so probably the volume of Adsa posts is decreasing. Almost a relief to be 2000 miles from my nearest Adsa and clearly not able to get there rather than know I could get there if I could spare a couple of hours.

Was in a lovely homeware shop yesterday (well a girl has to shop even on holiday) and the till guy asked for my discount card. Obviously we don't have one here. In broken english he managed to explain that buying a card gives a freebie greater than the card price the following month. So as the following month is today I would be quids in: then he said you also get 30% off in your birthday month, remembering the "rule" that your birthday is always the next month that means I can go back today and spend the voucher and get 30% off :j

The AA batteries are not showing on my supermarket, will they still compare ? Also they have showing a 4+ 2 free on AAA packs in the 2 for 1 deal, is this new ? Has anyone had 6 pack compare please ? TIA x

I'm not that fussed about Home Bargains tbh, I will pop in every few weeks as the "red bull" (emerge) thats o/h drinks is only 25p a tin in there, the rest I find is pretty hit and miss.

Looking at mysupermarket Iams is still there, as is JF, as is schwartz. Remember you are looking at waity's and sainsburys not sada.
