  • Well what a rubbish weekend, yesterday out for dinner with family, came home with 2 laptops and a DS lite, you'd be pleased wouldn't you, unless that is you were invited round for dinner so you could repair faulty things  oh and to top it, 1 bottle of wine on table between 4, whilst I'm looking at problems another 2 bottles appeared and I got a coffee.:mad:

Not happy, and then to top it just as I'm about to serve a roast tonight, ex-neighbour turned up from 4 years ago, his dd brought a galaxy tab and can't use it for work java won't work, so dinner was delayed for 90 minutes before reheating, then to top it iPod touch sold on fleabay for £70 instead of £100.

Sometimes I wish I didn't help people, and the best of it is do I get anything back no nothing.

    Why do I bother.

Hugs (()) but its not as bad as my friend, she was working in a shoe shop and a regular customer invited her to a charity event she was hosting.

Friend said she would go to offer support, said lady opened door invited her in and handed her a tray of drinks to give out.

Turns out she was invited all along to be a waitress and she thought she was invited as a guest.

Sharp exit just doesn't cut it. :o
Budgie xxx and I do hope Chris Malloney get through to the live X Factor shows as the wild card.

  • My carefully selected OEP shop is all ready to go and can I find the bloody car keys? Can I heck! Aaargh. Think DD must have put them somewhere because I can't find them anywhere. They're not even in the tumble dryer which is where I usually find anything I'm looking for :rotfl:
Cba looking for them anymore, so guess it'll be an early morning trip to A's instead.

Wouldnt that make the 3 sponge £186?

    They are comparing at £1.83

Can fuzzydo tell us which prices in swere coloured red on APG results?

That will identify all the multibuys in play here and will help us rule out anything else

    1 x Pears Transparent Soap (125g)£0.60£0.30
    1 x Swizzels Matlow Strawberry Refresher Bar£0.10N/A

only the syrup sponge compare in the pudding offer unfortunately, so the bourbons would be the best trigger

it rounds them up/down so 61/62p would be the trigger price for all those that compare

I'm pretty sure this is misinformation :p

It only rounds up/down if the cost of 2 triggers is not divisible by 3

    eg

if a 3f2 trigger was 92p each in S then 3 would cost £1.84, average price of 61.33p. This would mean comparison prices would show 2 products comparing at 61p and 1 comparing at 62p (61+61+62=184p which is the cost of 2 triggers)

if a 3f2 trigger was 93p each in S then 3 would cost £1.86, average price of 62p. This would mean all items compare at 62p (62+62+62=186 which is the cost of 2 triggers)

I'd need to see the colour coded results to decipher what is happening

All this fun has passed me by until today. I read about the glitch just as I went on holiday so have been itching to try this out after enjoying the Tesco PC days.

I managed a successful shop today after reading quite a few posts but am still a little confused about the magic numbers. I'm sure everyone is fed up of questions but....

    I bought :

    1 x [trigger] A.R.P.
    1 x Weetabix 72
    4 x Weetabix 48
    plus
6 x very cheap filler items

(yes - it resulted in losing £1 odd due to the cap)

As I understood I need to have 3 glitchy items [or 6] (including the trigger), and over 8 [eligible] items total (for APG rules).

    Are there any other rules?

e.g. Do I need to have 9 or 12 (or any other) number of items in total?

How do multiples of the same product affect the numbers?

Are the filler items important - ie the N/A status of them, or is it just that they are cheap. Say I add Heinz Beanz (that is the same price at the other supermarket) instead of a 10p choccy - any problems?

TIA & apologies if this is the 416th time of similar questions.

    Thanks for the #tweet.

if its 3 for 2 you need it in 3,6,9 including the trigger.
if its buy 1 get 1 free you need it in evens. so 1 trigger and 3,5,7 or 2 trigger items and 4,6,8 etc.
