Surprised to see asofoetida at that price, I think I paid about £2 for some a couple of years ago! Can't for the life of me remember what it was for, think it was something Indian, still have about half a pack in the cupboard :rotfl::rotfl:
Had a very productive day, totally on my own! Christmas cake is out and cooling, Christmas pud is out and cooling, new router is set up and working, two loads of washing done and folded. Even found time to nip down to T's for my fave peanut butter (the value one of course!!), job done :T:T
:T:T I thought that was just me?!! DH buys sunpat! Smooth  Value crunchy for me every time!ahhh...this has been going on for months...the red Punto was the car I had earlier this year...the blue Picasso is my current car. Although hubby has a car too, whenever A's deliver he's always at work!!!
But I did mention that to the police that when I was arrested, saying if it wasnt an offence, that next time I'd block them in and see how they liked it.....to which the police advised it would be classed as 'obstructing someone in the course of duty/job role' ....but either way, its not technically an offence, worst case the police will just ask the obstructing vehicle (either mine or theirs) to move!
I also have next doors NHS carers come 4 times a day, and one of those ladies like to block my drive too...she explained its too far for her to walk from outside my house if someones already parked outside next door!! The carers and A's all kindly tell me that if I just come and find them, they'll happily move their vehicle!!!
The day my DD1 partially knocked her tooth out earlier this year was a perfect example of me needing to get out quick...luckily I could. The irony is that was the day I was due back at the police station...when I arrived the officers were debating who's turn it was to make a drink ....using far worse language than I did!!!!
I'm building a little portfolio of pics at the mo ready to email to A's... I have months worth of different vans (photos of the different registration plates as proof), to show this isnt a one-off! I'll get round to it soon...but one driver openly admitted they do it to wind me up  so doubt anything will change. I often leave my own car across the top of my drive to stop anyone else blocking it in the daytime...at least that way I know I can always do the school pickups/drop offs!
eta - Ellejmorgan - lmao...I've recouped my £80 fine from A's.....with interest too
Looby123, Are they deliberately parking there to pee you off after they managed to get you arrested? Is this not harassment? I'd be phoning the police anyway (noon emergency obviously) and tell them you have to get to work. (even if you don't), they are then obstructing you in your line of work.
A similar thing happened to us not that long ago. We had already adopted Locarr's advice!:D:D:D Soon stopped!
I was under the same impression, that they had to have a first aider on duty at all times! I would definitely contact head office and create merry hell!!! Was he OK in the end, did you take him to A&E?
I used to work for Mr M, I had to do the first aider course. They certainly made sure there was always adequate first aid cover for the entire time we were open. If a first aider was called we would go straight away, if we were on a break, it didn't matter, you'd take that time when you were finished anyway. Worth pointing out though, I don't think it's a legal requirement.Gwrys yn Kernow! :j0 -

True but don't rule out the other Heinz items comparing at 40p because altho they are unrelated to the Aussie @75p, something could be going on with these too!;)
True, but I was answering Miss Laid's question about why the Aussie compared at 75pApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Not sure if it will glitch at asdas price of 50p so 1/3 off that or
tesco price of £1.09 so a 1/3 off that price.
Why would it ever glittch off Asdas price? :wall:
if you read the forum you'd know how this would work out. People have been buying the underjams for daysApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Wonder if the BS soaps will come back into stock at, oooh is it normally about 6am??
Changing the subject, I remember at work my first first aid experience was with a lady who'd been fitting for ages on the shop floor, I'll never forget the nasty onlooker who commented 'how selfish I can't even get to look at the shoes now' horrible c*w, how sick can you get. The lady who'd had the seizure was fine in the end albeit very very tired. I seriously could not believe what was said she deserved a punch!!Ahhhh.... lemony fresh victory is mineee!!!0 -
