  • The baby club mocs go through the till at £3 now, or they did when the starter set was £3 a couple of weeks ago.

    Really? I haven't used one for a few years but I thought it was one of those coupons that the SA had to enter the amount for?
    That's a bit mean of A's to issue a coupon saying you get a free starter kit then expect you to pay the difference? Booo! :(

    PS On another shop, I bought 1x rice, 4x cleaning, 1 x Robinsons plus fillers as I wasn't thinking straight as in a rush (and sat for three hours thinking I had messed up ... again!). However, all matched the rice at 32p - therefore when people have said you can mix cleaning/cereal/hair to match W you did actually mean mix (so rice, 1 cereal and 1 hair would still match - this would seem to be true from my receipt?). Again, just trying to get my head round how it works as assumed before this that you had to keep in 3s from the same category - please correct me if I have got this wrong as I don't want to misinform(!).

    You can mix them up Anon, so long as you have mutiples of 3. Doesn't have to be 3 cereal, 3 shampoo etc. Just any mix including your cheapie one Obviously you need to check they are part of the 3 for 2 deal.. .:beer:

    In the real world as put it someone would put you on your backside for being rude and horrible but it's easier to be a keyboard warrior.:p:rotfl:

    As for misinforming me, I already knew what the trigger was, but also knew there had beed problems with certain pkt types comparing and asked a specific question about a specific post.

    Rather than being rude you could have ignored my question, but you would rather let everyone see clearly what type of person you are.:T:beer:

    FLo, I never answered your question, I only answered the guy I quoted.

    I responded to you after you decided I had answered you.

    As for being rude, whatever, water off a ducks backs, read all my previous posts and then make a decision.

    As I have said, I have a Sense Of Humour, which is lacking in this thread ATM.
  • Hi all
    Is any body having problems at finding triggers on the shelves?
    I did a shop today and could not find any:mad:
    I just got the veg and meat for tomorrow and kept my little apg for another day;)

    You quoted my question and were rude to me, there isn't another way to put it. It is a real shame some people descend to this level.

    There isn't a need for it, if you don't want to respond don't there was no need to be rude like you were.

    I'm not a newbie by any stretch on MSE, and as can be seen by most of my posts I can banter and have a laugh with the best of them but that wasn't what you were doing.

    :mad::mad:Because it is faster to type "batteries" in search than it is to log in/register and then type a question and then sit and wait for a nice person to do the work for you and type an answer.:mad::mad:

    And we do all say "please do a search" but then people get annoyed at that being the standard answer.

    And I have a Sense Of Humour, which most people are lacking on here it seems.

    I did not deliberatly mis inform, I gave the OP a choice - believe whatever I had told them, or do the search themselves. In the long run I am only helping them be self sufficient and survive in the real world without someone holding there hand - sometime you just have to let the kids do something themselves.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    You gave the OP a choice? :mad: You also had a choice. :mad:
    You could have given the correct answer?
    Asked them to do a search?
    Ignore the request?
    Or misinform?
    We all have choices, some of us just make the wrong choice.

    I know it's frustrating constantly reading "how do I?" "What's the trigger?" "What shop?" Etc but its also equally frustrating to go do a shop for it to be wrong. Not to mention a total waist of money and time. Not everyone has time to read every post, a lot skim read. Your post could have caused a lot of people "not just the OP" to lose money they can't afford. :eek: :eek: :eek:

    Is anyone else having a problem with the APG system? I've just tried to input 3 receipts and the system does not recognise any of them - panic stations!

    TBH, I am still trying to find the oomph to get up off my backside and go to Asda :D been a long week, I am definitely getting too old for this teaching lark. The kids wore me out!:o
  • Absolutely unbelievable !!

    Sent the wife shopping with 2 lists and she got them both wrong :mad:

    She mixed the 2 together, got 5 glitchy items on one and 7 on another, how dull can you get :mad: I had a feeling something would go wrong as it's the first time she's done it without me.

    Right she's banned from shopping :D

    Hope you didn't misinform her:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
