This has been addressed over and over again. For many the support and friendship they obtain from the thread is the very reason they use it. If others don't want to chat, there are plenty of other threads they can use. Perhaps this one is not the one for them.

Well on a positive note i actually found a couple of winning wombles today. 54p and 2.54p, :j

First time i've had any that have paid out.
