Am I a regular, I can't quite work out who is an who isn't. What qualifies someone as a regular?
As for pointing people in the wrong direction, there are a lot of posts with results from shops. All people need to do is read.
If you look on the paid to shop website the posters over there have copied his list.
Nice to see they found something useful on the thread then.
and some have made comments about the amount of chat on this thread.
This has been addressed over and over again. For many the support and friendship they obtain from the thread is the very reason they use it. If others don't want to chat, there are plenty of other threads they can use. Perhaps this one is not the one for them.
they can't stand the mis-informer stuff
Each to their own.
and they think the regulars talk in code.
Read the first page of the thread as a starting point. Reading other posts on the thread will reveal more. The more you read and chat on the thread, the more you will be in the know. Who knows you may even become a regular (what ever that is).Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

Beanz - don't do what I did.... stuck my hand into the tins to scoop the beans out the bottom (to go in my bolognese) Nice cut on my hand now.
Ow, sounds nasty. At least you probably couldn't tell what was blood and what was sauce ..............
Life has taught me a lot of lessons. If someone says something i constuct as nasty. I am never nasty back, and i always try to consider the situation before saying anything. Dont get me wrong, i have a gob and half on me if anyone is horrible to my family or friends without need.
In hospital, i was in a pretty bad way, but, there was always someone worse than me.
Through court, it could have been worse. My son had rehabilitation, and most of all, the love and nurturing he needed to go on to be a wonderful son.
What im babbling on about is, lets get back to being a lovely helpful community without the sniping and taking things at face value. Lets help not hinder. If someone does something nice for you. Do something nice for someone else. Even if its a stranger.
You sound like a wonderful person. This is an ethos I try to go by. I am always asked why I am so happy all the time, I say that I am happy that I am making other people happy by being happytigerwhite wrote: »he he, i looooove Christmas and winter. queen_of_cheap wrote: »for the locals, the vulcan bomber is due to fly over the filton airfield tomorrow afternoon
Taken from the filton journal
Subject to weather conditions and aircraft serviceability, Vulcan XH558 will take off from Doncaster at 3pm and follow a route that takes in Bitteswell, Coventry Airport Birmingham Airport, RAF Cosford, Gloucester (Staverton) – Cheltenham, Filton, Cardiff Airport, St. Athan, Ross-on-Wye (Memorial) and RAF Halton.
A statement on the trust’s website reads:“Information on how the sortie is progressing will be made available on our official Twitter feed (@XH558), providing actual route and expected timings. If you wish to see XH558 on Saturday, the advice at this stage is to be near one of the listed locations from about 3pm watching the Twitter feed on your mobile.”
Vulcans used to fly over my house when i was a nipperwent back to RAF Finningley (Doncaster Airport before it was renamed) eariler this year and had a tour around the hanger whilst she was in for a refit and new paint job. They only charge a tenner for the tour but places are limited to 20 peeps and tours are only allowed a few times each year.. but well worth it..
