This has been addressed over and over again. For many the support and friendship they obtain from the thread is the very reason they use it. If others don't want to chat, there are plenty of other threads they can use. Perhaps this one is not the one for them.

Read the first page of the thread as a starting point. Reading other posts on the thread will reveal more. The more you read and chat on the thread, the more you will be in the know. Who knows you may even become a regular (what ever that is).

Vulcans used to fly over my house when i was a nipper went back to RAF Finningley (Doncaster Airport before it was renamed) eariler this year and had a tour around the hanger whilst she was in for a refit and new paint job. They only charge a tenner for the tour but places are limited to 20 peeps and tours are only allowed a few times each year.. but well worth it..
