Quick question to you Savvy peeps, sorry if it has already been addressed this morning but a quick scan back suggests not. Have Sada changed the T&Cs for the APG regarding putting voucher underspends on a Gift Card?
I underspent on a voucher by £5 (ish) this morning and asked for the outstanding amount to be put on a gift card. I was told that they did not do that.
Assuming that they needed a spot of training, I called HO just now and they have confirmed that underspends are not put on a Gift Card.
I have just checked on the APG T&Cs and I can't find any mention of underspends going on a gift card either. I am sure the following T&C clause (point 15) used to mention it:
Claims will be made via voucher (in store) or e-voucher (online). You must ensure that you retain your original receipt as vouchers are not valid without the original receipt. In store, vouchers (together with the original receipt) can be redeemed off the cost of your next shop at the checkouts, or alternatively (again, together with the original receipt) be redeemed at the customer service desk, if you are spending less than the value of the voucher.
The above is what is currently on the web site.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
Any help would be much appreciated. TIA
I had this to and phoned cs they basically said it is a loophole put in by the lawyers that taking it to a till is a cash transaction so there for because these vouches don't issue change any you have is lost but if you take all your shopping to the cs desk to pay for it then it is technically not a cash transaction as a till is not required, so the amount left on the voucher would get credited to a gift card, so next time ask them to void your shopping take it to the cs desk get them to ring it up and then they will issue the gift card with the difference, wish i had done that yesterday just to prove a point as but it didn't occur to me the trouting we had to deal with and it was only just over £1 but it was the attitude that got me, but CS said they will talk and mention retraining. so still lost the money but better than them doing nothing.HTH
Also they did say that terms had changed regarding and it used to g onto a card even at the tills and that the til will spit out the change for SS and its older software that didn't reconise the change, that applied to us as we where on the ss till and the SA snatched the money out of it so quick we didn't even realise what she was doing until it was done lol.0 -

I think it was because there was something with Johnsons before but it compared at £1.30 something if I remember correctly, so didn't really pay much attention!

I think some people go about using the word misinformer to discourage the newbies from doing it.
Pretty sad pratice but most people know it now. This just proves it.0 -

I'm the same; it compared with a Sainsbury's shop before, at a higher price, too high for miserly me. But as part of the 3 for 2 at Waitrose, much more feasible!
