Glad it worked for you. :T
Don't take it personally if you get no reply to questions. There could be several reasons why. The thread is running so fast it could get missed, a lot of people are skim reading or because this glitch is so complicated people just don't want to risk misinforming. :)

or because the question was already asked and answered a little earlier :p

Morning guys. Got good news and bad news for you today :D:(

Bad News - when driving home from seeing Mam last night, I told my sister that the car was pulling to the left, and I would have to check the tyres when I got back. As I pulled up at her house to drop her off, her OH was talking to neighbour across the road, and they noticed that I had a flat tyre. Front passsenger side. I tried to reverse onto their drive for a flat surface so easier and safer for my B-i-L to change the tyre, and they shouted for me to stop as the tyre was coming off the rim  He took the wheel off and put on my spacesaver spare, and took the wheel to the garage this morning as he was taking their car in for MOT. I need a new tyre with driving on that one when flat :o and that is costing £124 but they had to order one as they didn't have one in stock, so I am waiting of a call to say they have it in now. Oh, and the edge of the steel alloys got scuffed :(:(

Ee' well, the joys of motoring
    Thats your error right there.
If you think the car is not driving "right" check it .
Or drive on at a cost of £124 or possibly your life.
My wife can change a wheel and as soon as my daughter passes her test she will too.
  • :wave:Morning everyone hope everyones ok postie just delivered free percy pigs from M&S cant remember who posted but many thanks to the op :j
  • A quick good morning.
Another rush today, but have caught up a little.

Happy Birthday to Henlans ans Wool - wishing you both a special day, and special thanks for all your help on here.

Am off to collect neighbour from hospital in a while. Hospital is so near Sada, it would be rude not to. Feeling anxious as want to use an old APG for just under £16. Fingers crossed. Must say I have been lucky and the staff I have come across have been fantastic.

Just out of interest: I noticed the rice pot was priced at 40p in a Middx As last night - didn't buy any as was doing a diff shop, but will look today in F!

I rarely take any notice of people who say this isn't working etc until I see the reciept because it is usually down to the wrong item or wrong multiples...;)

Agreed. Seen this all too often. :(

yes, I may just take this advice because despite trying to be helpful all I get is nit picking and snide comments...this is not necessarily aimed at you AUU :D

some people should be allowed out the house let alone being put in charge of a budget and go shopping with it...

    Morning All:D

Not so much nit picking as trying to protect you from all the "I did what locarr said and my shop didn't work" posts that would inevitably come

I posted a simple shop to generate a £10 APG, someone changed it and then posted a warning to others not to follow my advice because not all items glitched!

That's why I post tidbits of info now rather than put it all on a plate

  • the aa ones are not on my supermarket & are coming up n/a the aaa ones are? do you think that these will be 2p in store at Sada??

Would not think so but worth a try.

    BUT

Tesco when calculating pp look at asda.com so my point was that buying the aa at tesco should be good for a pp. But then....the duracell at asda are cheap:rotfl::rotfl:
