had a really bad day started of ds3 kickied a doorway while running through the house and spent the morning at a and e luckily nothing broke but still very sore
then my mum went home to find out our very old pony had died we have had him since i was 11 so i grow up with him and he was the same age as me 44 so a very good age for a pony, and every year we say to the kids he will not survive the winter and he does so was a shock for him to go so suddenly.
ds1, ds2 and dd2 went and buried him for her and as dd1 is expecting her lovely partner went and helped they are all teens and early 20s and offered to do it in the rain and mud it was such a wonderfull thing for them to do. and i am proud of them all..:A
then as ds1 was about to go home his wife phoned the house 2 away from them is on fire badly 3 fire engines , 3 police cars and 2 ambulances so he has rushed home to see if everthing is ok. as there house is full of smoke.
i pray that the family all got out and are ok..

What an absolutely terribe terrible day, sending you hugs (()) you must be in shock with so much having gone on.
Take care and you should be proud of them all digging in the rain and the mud. That is really touching, and sorry for your loss.
Though your pony was old it is still a shock when it happens and you need to grieve, when our westie died it was so awful, worse that losing my Grandma, I felt desolate and so did Mr Budgie.
I also hope that the family whose house is on fire will be all ok, how terrible.
Take care and I am sorry and I hope your ds and his family are all ok too.

Oh my what a day!
So sorry to hear about your pony. 44 is a fantastic age, he must have had a lovely life with you.
Lovely to hear that the young un's in your family all helped to bury him, bless them.
