Cashier just told me they have closed the loophole

I thinks she was just scaremongering - Ill see in 3hr time

I think some people were told, in store, that it was going to be fixed at the weekend too. However, it wasn't ;)

On a serious note, it could be fixed any day now so do tread carefully and only spend what you can afford to loose and on things you know you need/want/will make use of IYKWIM.

    Dental has a separate trigger....:D

    exactly!

Really dont want to get into a debate here but....

how can any item work for the trigger, dental is in the 3 for 2 at waitrose as well as the cleaning, cereals, iams, kipling etc

Your post suggests that any item will work as the trigger.

    so, according to your theory,

1 rice + 8 other items from the 3 for 2 range (iams, cereal, cleaning, dental, mr kipling, etc ) and all items will compare at 32p..
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

  • Henlans what is your job? Just to highlight, this is not a dig at you it is purely off the back of my amazement that you work, care for a family and still manage to keep on top of the glitches. You must have fantastic organisational skills along with exceptionally high energy levels.

I struggle to get out of bed in the morning to get the kids to school, let alone fit in a job and visits to As :rotfl:

Don't worry sometimes the least said is the best;)Me and Nannylala got a bit of a trouting last night and got all our shopping put on a retrieved transaction and hauled over to CS and Nannylala went to start saying stuff and I did a discreet "Shush" to her. I only speak when I have to otherwise I worry they'll think I know too much;):rotfl::rotfl:

There is a bit of confusion re triggers, so to try to help overcome this locarr has an interesting guide below...hth:D

Basically any product in the 3 for 2 promo in waitys (cleaner/cereal/robos/iams etc) that compares in A’s will act as a trigger, yes any product, ;)

I have mentioned 6 or 7 previously but there are prob 12-15maybe more low priced products that will act as a trigger,

For instance a product that is £1.60 in W’s will act as your trigger at £1.07 not as good as 32p or 39p but useful to know if you can’t findyour rice pot/porridge etc, it is also good if you have no need for any more ricepot/porridge and you can buy something you will use/need!:)

In my above example of £1.07 it may seem alittle steep but when you consider you can get a big bag of iams or granola for this it doesn’t seem too bad! :D

    HTH:)

dental wasn't mentioned...and has never been included in the cleaner/cereal/robos/iams glitch....
