could do with a good holiday - now this sounds interesting :j:j:j

Just waiting for DD to get back to me with details, mind you the "dearest" will soon be "dreadful" if she doesn't hurry up!
It's the thought that counts.......I think a lot!
  • Lake district cheese may have finished at waitrose but its on bogof at at Tesco, at worst it's a filler (£2 at asda) BUT if we can figure out the trigger - MORE cheap cheese - which I want cos my freezer may be full bt my fridge is empty and I dont want to touch my freezer stash!!
The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

Anyone know where I can get some " get up and go" or "incentive"?
I'll happily pay full price, it's just that the mother is coming in 2 days and today is the last day I have to clean and my "get up and go" has gone and all my incentive has run out, I also think I've been struck down with "lazyitus" as well!!!!

I don't know but if you find some can you chuck some my way. ;)

  • Hello everyone

Been AWOL for months (and about 10 threads I think!). Going to try and catch up with what I've missed.

Not been very MSE recently. I think that the pricecheck thing has all changed in the last few months and I really had the hang of it so will have to revise!

Was thinking about last autumn and all the 4p clothing and old el paso and realised I missed this thread!

Just to test the waters... would something like the following work.

    Ambrosia Rice Pudding Original (120g)
Quaker oat so simple golden syrup 16 pack
    Weetabix Cereal (72x18g)
    PARACETAMOL 16 TABLETS - 15p
    TOMATO KETCHUP - 20P
    HARIBO TANGTASTIC/KIDS/STAR - 10P
    FLUMPS - 10p
    CADBURY LITTLE BAR - 20p
    LOOSE BANANA

Looks good to me :) but I have only done 2 shops one ok and one I put an extra cereal in, its so hard to count to 6:rotfl:

It could be worth double checking, but I have read the paracetamels (sp) may not work as they are classed as pharamacy..

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts I've been Money Tipped!
Just got back from A and certain triggers seem to have been removed. The shelves are bare. I asked one of the shelf stackers where have these product gone and he said they are going to print new barcodes and put them on the products. Don't know if this will affect every store or if A are just hiding these products until the offers are over in other stores.

Pretend you've been ill all week and get MIL to help sort mess out when she comes, preferably with you with your feet up on the sofa and a cup of tea recuperatying while she rushes round?:rotfl:

It's the M thats coming not the MIL (she's not allowed in the door, thankfully she doesn't even know where we live) and the M will give me no sympathy the only thing I'll get from her is ear ache!!'
