less intelligent means that they feel less pain? or no pain at all?

Cant beleieve ive just noticed the dental one, would love to stock up on toothbrushes haha
Can I just confirm that I dont have to use steradent, could use for example the aquafresh milk teeth 0-3 years as its on the 3for2 at W's and then the zig zags and a childs toothbrush also on 3for2? I understand it may compare slightly higher as milk teeth is £1.20 rather than £1 but if thats ok i'd rather something I could use for a slightly higher price if that makes sense x TIA x
The 4-6 yr toothpaste didn't work for me:cool: so i used the toothbrushes 2-6yr character ones and everything compared at £1 - hth0 -

Aternoon all
I may get shot down for this but i just had to have my say on the matter some of you have been discussing this morning about not going to work if you feel unwell or sending your kids to scool if they have a common cold or such things.
While i understand some of your points ie germs get spread about and a common cold is a bit more serious to some people, i really dont think you can keep your child away from school for it i want my children to get the best education they can and keeping them home for a few weeks a year as they have a cold does not sit right with me they miss so much work in a few wekks it is hard for them to catch up.
Second i work and if i kept calling in sick every time i had a cold i would be dismissed we can only be off a number of times in a 12 month period. some people do not get paid to if they dont go to work and not everyone can afford time off work
Sorry for rant i know everyone is entiteld to thier opion but i can see everyones point on this.
i agreeAlthough I appreciate that some people will be seriously affected by minor ailments, i do feel that parents today pamper their children too much...this isnt aimed at anyone on here before I get shot down too :rotfl:
When I was young, we would play outside in alsorts of weather (dressed accordingly though), we didnt have central heating on all the time, and we ate proper food. I lived near a country park with a lake, and in the school holidays, we would all swim in the lake....we'd go home caked in green sludge and mud...but we loved it!! I used to make mud pies and have tea parties with my friends and dolls in the garden...and even sit in our garden pond trying to catch tadpoles. I grew up with animals...whereby I was allowed to touch them and play with them. Never once have I been seriously poorly nor admitted to hospital. I rarely get coughs and colds or tummy bugs even now, despite being a smoker....and I think a lot of it is down to having built up a good immune system as a kid.
My own kids (4 and 2 years) have grown up with our Staffy giving them licks and kisses....they play outside getting dirty, if they drop a carrot or something on the dining room floor, they pick it up and eat it....DD2 has never had any tummy problems...never once vomited..and only time DD1 did was when me and her ate something dodgy from a buffet at a party. They rarely get coughs and colds either. They eat soo much fruit and veg its scary...although they do eat carp too :rotfl::rotfl:
I have a friend who virtually polishes her children, they're so squeaky clean....they rarely play outside, have no pets, and are always being wiped clean. If anyone around them has a bug, they're not allowed near them!!! Yet they are forever at the doctors with coughs, colds, ear infections and tummy bugs.
Only using my own experiences, I believe that the stronger your immune system, the more resilient you will be fighting any bugs....but your immune system will only gain strength from being subjected to germs in the first place:rotfl::rotfl:hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
