Buy to let contents insurance

I've currently got BTL buildings insrance with NU Direct but am considering adding a BTL contents insurance policy. I would only need to cover £1000 to £2000 for the furniture and appliances. Can anybody recommend a provider?

I know homeletuk.com do it , but is it really worth it for that level surely the deposit will cover most circumstances

I know what you mean. I'm thinking about the possibility of the floods etc..

I decided not to cover my contents but when the tenant did a runner with most of them my deposit didn't come anywhere near covering them.

I also found NU to be less than satisfactory on my claim for what i could get on the buildings side for the same claim

my fathers tenant trashed the house before she left, he had buildings cover and when the insurance agent came round to inspect as the property needed two new doors and a window he said the kitchen was covered as it was fitted and that was wrecked as well, the insurance company was "Spectrum Abacus" the years cover on a £70,000.00 buildings was £183.61 for this year.
