I got the same letter - but then another this morning with the timer saying they'd managed to get extra stock!
So maybe don't give up just yet everyone.
However please also see vjain's previous accurate comments about the item!0 -
I picked one of these up in B&Q a few weeks ago and agree the suction bit is rubbish. I personally don't think 2 minutes is long enough to shower, wash my hair etc
so don't use it.
BUT....if you've got kids it's perfect for timing how long they brush their teeth for. My daughter thinks 30 seconds is the same as 2 minutes  so now she uses this to time herself. The novelty of watching the timer go down seems to make her brush for longer.:smileyhea0 -

Yeah I got the letter saying they had run out yesterday and I wouldn't get one. Then a jiffy bag came today with the actual orange timer in it.. How bizzare0

i got the timer, and garden brochure, together with a letter saying sorry they had run out of timers
thanks again op, i'll just use it 3 times for each shower or something, at least it does make you more time aware!

I got the letter yesterday saying 'Apologies, but due to unprecedented demand.....' and no timer for me.
This morning a timer came in the post, with a letter saying they had managed to source more stock!! Its a nice little thing, going to try it out!... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

I hadnt read the previous posts before, and I agree that 2 minutes to shower is nowhere near long enough. I might use the timer for teeth cleaning instead as someone suggested... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
