Best way to wash outside windows?

We don't have a windowcleaner, and with 2 of the cats coming and going through the window, it's getting pretty manky with pawprints. There are also a lot of cobwebs etc. Am I best doing a once-over with bucket and mop with washing-up liquid, and then going over with vinegar and newspaper for the outside once it's dry from the wash? Just trying to figure out how best to do this with mobility issues - won't be attempting the upstairs outside. I'm planning on doing the outside before doing the inside, I think. Thoughts/suggestions?

Hot water, any random soap - shampoo or shower gel works just as well as fancy stuff, chuck it over, rub a bit, then chuck a clean bucket of hot water over. Job done. Watermarks are minor things, and the odds are that the cat will only come in having been digging in next door's compost heap or it's going to pour down in the next fifteen minutes.
I personally do inside and then outside. Not necessarily on the same day, as it's physical work. Obviously, inside, I make slightly less mess, but polishing still isn't the be all and end all (and I'll use windowlene pink on the inside if I want them super sparkly - ie, when Spring/Autumn cleaning)
But, TBH, in the great scheme of things, paying someone else about a fiver to clean the outsides is a good deal. Even without mobility issues.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
