I have about 300ml of left over elmlea cream to be used.
I have been looking at recipes that call for cream but nearly everything is double or whipping.
Any ideas?

I buy elmlea single cream for my coffee and once the carton is opened if there is any left after my Sunday morning coffee fest with my DD I use it in mashed potatos ,or in scrambled eggs or omelettes.anywhere that I would normally use a dash of milk Or really nice as a treat on cereal or porridge. Its gone up a little in price recently as it was 55p for months and now its 61p a carton but its so nice ,especially in our coffee0

Thanks to you both - I am on a diet at the moment so I dont want to use it but I am looking for something that I can make for OH and SD.
I can rule out all the soup recipes but there are certainly some recipes on that site that might be possibles.
I didnt think about using it in mash - I made some last night but have some cold to reheat later so will add a dash then. Scrabbled egg or porridge is an idea too - might try to palm them off with porridge when they get up (it isnt their fave but it might be a lot nicer with cream in it)0 -
I use left over Elmlea in place of milk or yogurt in Muffins.0

Use it in a home made soup, milk jelly, stroganoff, goulash, rice pudding or have it with coffee............Oh and by the way cream is actually better than milk if you are on a diet because you use less of it than the watered down semi skimmed or skimmed milk.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
