How to save runner bean beans

I've picked a mass of runner beans today but they are just too fibreous to boil and eat. I was thinking of saving the inner bean but cant find anything useful on the web about how to prepare and store them. Can I just freeze them raw or do I have to do anything to them first?
And stupid question time! do I have to take the outer skin off the inner bean:o
Thanks

Yes you can pod them and just use the inner bean.
Yes you can freeze 'em raw, or you can put them on a sheet and leave them somewhere warm and airy to dry out and use them as you would in any dried bean.
And not a stupid question at all, every one has to learn, you can leave the skin on the inner bean. hth£71.93/ £180.000
