In the spirit of music cost saving

http://www.tunechecker.com/

I look at MSE Tunechecker to see if they list the cheapest price of an album I am interested in.

I rarely pay full price for the itunes giftcards as 20% off deal threads on MSE / Hotukdeals etc. come up every now n again.

Look for added value as some mp3 albums have videos attached which can give excellent value. (Amazon videos might not work without converting to ipod via AVC etc.)

Poundland, Tesco (£3/cheap chart) etc. range sometimes find a gem.

Amazon do some super deals / deal of the week etc.

Free music on Amazon / itunes (often a track off an album to tempt you)
