Life after debt!

I am currently looking at being debt free in about 2 years. We are currently on a DMP with the CCCS. (Been so helpful) We entered the plan just after my son was born, he is now 7!

So after 9 years in debt, we are looking at life debt free, I have 6 more years in a well paid job and will leave with a pension (albeit no as good as I first thought it was)

We have no home, to move to after the 6 years. So what is the best advice you can give me.

I dont want to get a morgage whilst on a DMP! I dont want to leave it too late and then struggle to get a morgage knowing that in a few years I will be "jobless"

Any advice is welcomed.

Pete
