Fifa 2006 football? a win?

Hi everyone,

I didn't know where to post this so please move if need be.

I've been comping since December but only just joined up to this forum. I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who posts competitions and answers. I really have to say that I am grateful for all your efforts.

The reason I am posting is that I think I won my first prize today. A package arrived this morning containing a FIFA 2006 football. Sadly the package had been opened/tampered with and there was no indication of its origin, not even a little note inside. Also, it appeared that something else also been in the package but had been removed en route.

Despite that, I am really thrilled (my first win ever) and more than that, my little boy is over the moon.

I do a lot of competitions from local papers/magazines but I don't remember any comp for footballs so I can only assume it came from one of the comps on this site. I've tried to search for anything similar but unfortunately the search function doesn't like me.

If anyone knows which competition this prize has come from I would be really grateful as I do want to thank the OP who has made mine and my little boy's day.

Brilliant, well done. It's not unusual to get a prize with no explanation at all, I've had a couple. Try using advanced search using FIFA in game over and seeing what comes up.

I've tried searching for FIFA football and there are quite a few comps where the football is included in a prize so I'm still unsure who to thank - so thanks to everyone. Sorry, its so generalised, I did so want to be able to thank the OP. If I do manage to find out where the football came from (hopefully they eventually send me an email or something helpful like that) then I shall make it a point to do so.

Prudent, my little boy was and is ecstatic about it. He even refused to go to sleep unless he could see it from his bed,:rotfl: I guess to make sure it wasn't a dream.

Things have been tough lately so seeing the excitement and joy in his eyes when he saw the football really made me happy. So, thank you to the OP, whoever you are and God bless you.

hi there we won a World Cup silver football - is it the same? We got ours from some cereal (maybe Cheerios) I think but that was ages ago.

It's a white football with black and blue streaks and Fifa World Cub Germany 2006 and Gillette written on it. Also says that it is 100% Child Labour Free (which I think is a nice thing to know).
