presents for hubby/dad/grandad 50th

Right my husband is 50 next thur, and i'm struggling as to what to buy.

1st week of oct we are going paris and madrid for a week, for his birthday, we are going to the arc de triomphe, horse race,,,,whilst there, but i'm struggling to buy surprise presents.

so far i've got

from me -
60 euros, 10 euros bet a race
small aftershave, flying with hand luggage only (so will come in useful)
m and s pj's
daft cup.

daughter got him,
millions (for men) gift set

grand kids

zilch so far

i was thinking of booking a show for us to go and see, and maybe book a night in a hotel, like ken dodd at blackpool,

any more cheapish ideas i can go with.............

What a great idea!

Perhaps buy a really big street map of Paris/ Madrid from the Grandchildren with some home-made flags so he can tick off all the places he's visited?

If you Google 'hidden gems of Paris' (or Madrid) you'll get a list of places that are not the usual tourist attractions but may well be worth a visit or give you ideas for more presents.

Sorry I can't suggest more....
