Do Barclaycard EVER sell on to a DCA?

Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with BC?
I have a £3000 credit card balance. BC had initially been very helpful, freezing interest completely. However, about 6 months later, they suddenly whacked interest up to 27%. When I queried this, they basically said the initial freeze had been an error. Letters have gone back and forth but they are refusing to be reasonable and my acc is now in dispute.
My acc has been passed onto Mercer and most recently Calder but I'm aware these companies are BC by another name.
My other CCs have agreed frozen interest and reduced payments from Day 1/MBNA sold onto DCA and agreeable payments are now happening.
Do BC ever sell on to a DCA? I have found both DCAs I'm with far easier and more reasonable to deal with so I'm digging my heels in with BC. I know they don't have to reduce/freeze interest and am more than willing to pay my debt but they are not interested in negotiating a payment that is sustainable for me.
Anyone had a similar situation?

we started our DMP in Jan this year and I owe BC about 12k  and my wife was about 3k so quite a lump in total, they froze interest on both from the start, and so far fingers crossed 9mths on they are still both on 0% and no mention of selling on yet from them.....0

Sometimes, yes.
Always difficult to predict which accounts will be sold on. You would think it is commercial cost/benefit decison by them, but sometimes it just defies common sense even on that basis.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

If the finance companies were to become entirely predictable, then there would be little use for forums such as this!0 -
