I wanna get something out soon but I haven't even started yet. I reckon I could make £10-£15 per month if I come up with something good, from speaking to others with apps released
Any ideas?

Hi London,
Your grocery budget does seem quite high. Have you posted it in the Old Style board? Let us know what you have in the cupboards/freezer already and we can probably halve that for you.
I'll add that to my to-do list tomorrow, I've lurked on the Old Style Board a lot in the past (long-time lurker on most of MSE actually) and I've found it really good :T I reckon I have enough food in the house to last about 3 weeks at the moment, but after that the cupboards and freezer would be totally bare. I'll make a list of what I have tomorrow.0 -
For the cost of having the car just sitting still, £107/month .... what distances are you covering to pick up your child? Could you, instead, look at whipcar, or even using a taxi?
... and yeah, you scoff a lot0 -

Hi London,
Good luck on getting everything sorted - it's a long haul, but worth it.
I've been working on upping my income this month too - I ended up with about £100 extra from non-ebay stuff this month, and it's taken about 2 hours a week.
Here's some ideas:
- Field Agent app for iPhone - you can complete mystery shopping and market research tasks for £4-5 each. They normally take under 5 mins and have been really good!
- Usertesting - if you're already online quite a lot, this might be good for you. I test websites by making a short video about them - usertesting provide the screen capture software and upload it all. Very easy and pays $10 for a 10 min vid.
- Do you have skills you could use to tutor? I was learning app development and would have loved to find a tutor to guide me through it. Maybe then I wouldn't have given up!!
I have a few ideas for apps I'd be happy to PM you if you'd like?
