Keep on comping...the wins will turn up soon......don't give up!:D0

If it feels like a chore, comping will become a bore.
Make it fun, and with the thoughts of what could be won.
Thats the trick and then I'm sure there will be prizes galore.June - Watch0 -
No win for me since April and i do a good couple of hours a day, and more if i'm in the mood or have the time. I'll keep at it though i live in hope

There are a lot of people entering competitions nowadays. There are articles in magazines and newspapers now and again which describe some people who have won loads and so more start entering and of course there are sites like this one where people join up and get competition entry details very easily so not a chore to find comps. Then there are the subscription magazines that list comps for their members not to mention the pay to enter for you companies.....so all in all much harder to win than say a few years ago.
Good luck if you decide to keep entering - someone has to win0 -
Hey it should be about having a bit of fun, if you take it too seriously then you will get down hearted about it.
I know stats/probability play a part in winning comps but I seriously believe it's down to luck. I don't believe in quantity - just quality (with a dose of luck thrown in for good measure

Think that sums it up. I've only been doing it for a month and just doing it for fun, got nothing to lose. When I get bored with it, i'll stop or take a break. Meanwhile I enjoy tapping away at the keyboard and day dreaming of a win. But at the end of the day it's just pot luck.
Anyhow, back to clickity clicking with the mouse, autofilling entry forms........:D0 -
Thanks for your support, I will keep going for a bit see how it goes.0

Dont let it take over your life
Only enter for things you would like
Never expect to win

I think before the internet really too off it was more fun. Picking up your favourite magazine, reading the articles and participating in the competitions by post.
Now so many competitions are posted online and doing one after another the fun has diminished some what.
I suppose it can get addictive with the lure of a win (albeit long odds) and you don't really want to miss any!
Who knows who's the next to win, some people seem to beat the big odds (on biggie prizes) more than once!
