Appointing a bailiff

Right.
Firstly, thank you in advance for reading this and your advice.
Cutting a long story short, the county court have made a judgement in my favour meaning an ex employer is required to pay me a set amount of money. They missed the deadline to pay and despite a reminder on my part, still have not paid.
I'm now ready to appoint a bailiff / have their account frozen / whatever the judge feels necessary. My only concern is the cost involved in doing so. Not coming up with the money, that is fine, more the fact if a bailiff was appointed I believe it costs £100 - what if one gets appointed then the defendant suddenly pays up? Who fronts the bill?

Bailiff questions are not employment issues, maybe run a search on the Debt-free Wannabe board?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
