Advice on my debt being sold

Hi there, I'm newly registered on here but I hope someone can put my mind at ease...
I was made redundant about 6 years ago and came to an agreement with MBNA to payback my near £16,500 balance at £220 a month. Once this months payment went out it left a balance of only £193, which I paid with my debit card on Tuesday to settle the account in full.
I then recieved a letter on Wednesday saying they are selling my debt to idem servicing on the 24th Sept ?? Obvioulsy the letter was already on it's way before I'd paid the balance off but even so I cant understand their logic in selling a debt that was so near to being paid off.
I checked my experian report about 7 months ago and MBNA was showing all as green ticks (I'm guessing because it was more than 5 years from when I first defaulted and I have made regular payments ontime ever since) My worry now is how this will impact on my credit score?
Will idem servicing show up on there as a red mark even though MBNA have in effect sold them a debt where the balance is zero ??
Any advice that would put my mind at ease would be very much appreciated.

You need you confirmation letter from MBNA that the debt was satisfied with a balance of zero I think.
Just in case...
If Idem Servicing turn up I would suggest a letter saying they are claiming payment on a debt with a balance of zero. Make sure you head the letter I Do Not Acknowledge That Any Debt Exists.
