Delivery charge increases

If they started to raise their delivery prices to anywhere near £15 I would not be able to use the online shopping anymore. Cannot justifiy spending that when even a taxi both ways for me would be cheaper.

I seriously doubt they will increase it to THAT level. Maybe a pound or two, but not much more than that!

Don't forget fuel prices doesn't affect you, it affects the supermarkets as well. Supermarkets main source of income is you buying there products, if they are paying loads of fuel and staff to get the products to you then they need to make enough money from you.

Here a great example. We had a customer who ordered a box of wine and a birthday cake. Their bill was something like £20. However from the store the customer was 11 miles away. How much fuel the van uses for that trip and how much do I cost per hour? There isn't a lot of that £20 left!!!

I'd like to point out something that might be forgotten. Supermarkets buy at trade discount prices. A bookshop may get 40% off the RRP so imagine how much Tesco can get off for several million bottles of Heinz tomato ketchup. The plastic bottle probably costs more than the ketchup as those won't be Class 1 tomatoes being squished to make it.
