Debt Collectors changing their minds!

Hi there, im in need of a bit of advice if possible,
Ive been recieving letters from the debt col. agency "Levi Black & Associates" claiming I owe £604 for a debt from Scottish Power (although the letters are always made out to "Steve", when my name is Chris........weird).
Anyways, the debt is for a time where I had already moved out of my old house and back with parents and so therefore I was not even at the address when the electricity/gas was in use. I had phonned them up before and explained this and they said to fax a copy of the letter back to them with a signature from a parent stating when I had moved back into their house.
I did all this and have now recieved another letter saying that " You do not have a valid reason for non payment of this account"
I have all the details still of my landlord and when I moved out he was back in charge of the house as he was the only one there, is it worth just sending them all his details?
Thanks in advance,
Chris!

Ignore them. Even if they were to take you to court they'd be laughed out, especially if it's not even your name they're using! Just make sure you keep all your paperwork.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Theyve got my first name wrong but the last name is correct. Does that make a difference?0

Yes because it's not you. They probably got your last name off the electoral role and are mass mailing anyone with that name so that someone owns up to the debt. It's uite common for DCA's to do this. It's not your debt. If Bailiffs or agents turn up show them some photo id and tell them to b****r off. IF you get anymore letters from them write not at this address on it and chuck it back in the post box.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
