New to comping

Hi everyone,
I have only been comping properly for around 5 weeks and have already had some good wins:
BBQ set worth £70
running top
pet food from a pet photo comp
and a few other small bits and bobs
What I would like to know is how many people actually enter the competitions, especially the FB app ones? I am really interested to know how popular they are. Also are there any comps that people avoid? There seem to be some survey ones that send loads of junk email.
I would be greatfull for your answers and good luck to everyone in forthcoming comps
