Sandtex Masonry Paint - Smooth

We are painting our outside fencing and concrete panels and wanted some Sandtex Masonry paint. We went to our local Homebase store and they had advertised the Magnolia Smooth Texture at £9.99 for a 5 litre tin. Unfortunately they didn't have any in stock as they are finishing selling the Sandtext paint (they had plenty of Brilliant White through in both smooth and textured).
We then went to B&Q to see how much their was and as we wanted the Magnolia, we purchased it from there at £18.98. I noticed a price promise on the way out, so I questioned this at Customer Services. They did in fact honour the Homebases price and also gave me an additional 10% off.
If you need the white paint - go to your local Homebase as I think it is a nationwide offer and get it before it all sells out. If you want the magnolia, go to B&Q and get a price promise. With B&Q it has to be within a 10 mile radius of the Homebase store.

I'm moving this to Shop but don't drop as I think it fits there better, being about price matching by B&Q0

It wasn't about price matching, that was just in case you wanted the magnolia. I was also posting about limited amounts of stock reduced to half of B&Qs price that was being sold in Homebase for a short period of time.
Sorry if you thought it should have been in a different section. I thought as you had to be quick to get the bargain then I had posted in the appropriate section. Sorry.
