CCJ Removal

I recently found out when applying for a credit card that I had a CCJ against my name from 3 years ago! I never received any of the documentation regarding the fine or judgment as I had moved house. The judgment was from the DVLA for a unpaid fine.
I have paid the fine now and received conformation of payment from the DVLA and want to get the CCJ removed by applying to the courts for it to be discounted. I have read that I need to fill in an N244 form and have an affidavit to say I did not ever receive the original warnings/fine.
Does any one know if N244 is the form I need, if so can you help with guidance on filling it out, I have no idea what to put in the sections “level of judge” and “parties served” …
The form that I have found is here.

Many thanks

Hi MSC,
I'm not sure about the form, but if you go to the Court Office - either the court at which the judgement was obtained, or your local County Court - and explain the situation, they will tell you what you need to do.

If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I took your advice Rog and went along to the central london county court, they said all I need to do is pay them £15 with proof I have settled the amount outstanding and the CCJ will be removed, but is this the same as having the CCJ removed from my credit file? Can anyone help??0
