Do I need to respond any further?

I have been living in my new home since April this year. Since then I have a lot of mail for the previous tenant. Even now, the most of mail is for them, despite my re posting them "not at this address".
A few weeks ago there was a letter with no details on envelope apart from the previous tenants name, had no choice but to open it; it was from a debt firm supplying just a mobile number. I rang it and said they didnt live here anymore, that was fine and dealt with.
Last week a different firm had posted a letter through, again no details, so I opened it, it said to reply or they would bring a locksmith round with the baliffs. It was a 0845 number if I remember rightly, so not wanting to be charged I searched google for them, its Philips Debt Specialist and Debt Recovery. I emailed them and told them they didnt live here.. etc
Just had an email back today, saying I have got to post them proof that I am the new tenant, they want my Council Tax bill! Or they would carry out their original 'threat'
Do I need to do this.. ?

No you don't.
Just return all the letters, marked "Not known at this address."
They can't force their way into your home, with or without bailiffs."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
Thanks, I didnt see why I should pay for photocopying or a stamp haha.
I have just emailed them back... FYI *** does not live at this address, and I will not be proving who I am! Regards ***0
