HELP, Missed work focused interview apparently!!

I have got A letter from the job centre saying I have missed a work focused interview so I rang them up and said I havent even been told that I had one, they said the matters in the hands of head office and they can reduce my benefits? Is this right? Seems that they wont hear my side at all.??

karen this sounds unreasonable, but then jobcentre plus has never been the best at advising people of what they need to do when
I would call them up again, saying you want to speak to the relevant department, you didnt know you had to have one and want to book in the appointment asap.
I would also put it in writing and cc your MP just for info.:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
