Uniform Tax Rebate

As a debt free wannabe have been looking at claiming whatever I can. I work in the NHS and have to wear a uniform. I sent a letter to HMRC just over 3 weeks ago. Today received notification that my tax code has increased to 8340 and a cheque is in the post for 190.00 for previous years....result for the cost of a stamp :j
