suspended

i was suspended today and given a copy of the disciplinary rules and a letter just saying that of today i am suspended pending notice of an allegation of misconduct. should it not have on the letter what the allegation is???

    no date it just says i am required to co operate with our investigations and may be required to attend investigative interviews or disciplinary hearings

    This may just be a preliminary letter - I'd write a formal reply asking for full details of the allegations at hand. Its possible they don't want to give them until they have checked it out properly and can present a case though.

    i have a meeting with my union rep tomorrow turns out someone took a video of a couple of us being a bit stupid with a trolley.

    Cheers Sambucus, I have a habit of going through the forums and opening each thread and then reading and responding. Not good as you miss some new posts by the time you have read them and replied, but cheers

    Yes it was something that happened in August 3 of us were involved and all of us have been suspended spoke to my rep who was amazed it went this far my first hearing is tomorrow they reckon they have a video of us
  • There is just no fun at work anymore is there!

    Don't stress and let union rep deal with it?
