So I return home today to a brown envelope from HMRC.....oh goodie as I have been on a crappy tax code for ages:T

But no dear reader (after all this IS the Inland Revenue:mad:), not only am I not in line for a rebate, but according to them I OWE money!!!!! (enter various expletives mainly bringing with an 'F') According to the posstots I received benefits 2012/13 - !!!!!!???!!! So, queue a lengthy automated call, I am then informed by the robot voice that lines are busy so must call back!!!! Could you not tell customers this at the BEGINNING of the call?????

No frickin' wonder call centres get a bad name for themselves:mad:

    And.......breathe :p

    Thank El and Pix:)

I could have chosen to rage about it all evening, however instead I chose to read Stephen Covey - 7 Habits.....fab reading and would thoroughly recommend to anyone who hasn't had the pleasure yet:D

I didn't sleep brilliantly last night as still have blinkin' cold which is now quite happily in situ in my chest......ah well, at least I have my 'sexy cold voice' ;)

    Well hello sexy voice :rotfl:

    Hope you're feeling better x
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

If I could choose any course to attend, it would definitely be Stephen Covey's.....actually Steve, if you're reading this (which is a real possibility), would you be able to put two tickets aside please for myself and HDK? Cheers.

I am desperately trying to get rid of CC outstanding amount before 0% deal expires, so the next few months are very tight financially:o There is a light at the end of the tunnel come November (coming off the hefty SVR), and saying c-ya to the CC bill.

Of course by then Christmas will be looming;)

Today, I am doing some careful shopping which will include al**s version of pimms. Had some great reviews and at a fraction of the price....has anyone else tried this?
