Do you know how much you were paid in total for the tax year 06/07?

If you handed a P45 into your new (from Dec) employer - any overpayment of tax from Apr 06, should have automatically been refunded with your first wage or so.

sorry you need to be a lot more precise. Unfortunately 'last year' isn't clear at all

    so from april 6 2006 to april 5 2007

how much was your gross pay in total
and how much was your tax in total
also tell us if there were any pension payments or any benefits.

if you are concerned about the previous tax year i.e april6 2005 to 5 april 2006 then give the equivalent figures.

The tax year runs to the 5 April, so you mean the 5th not the 1st

Also as it is after the 5 April any tax refund you are due for last year ( i.e. tax year ended 5 April 2007) you will need to ask for from HMCE
