Coronation Chicken HELP!

The other week I was in Sainsbobs & they had sachets of Schwartz Coronation Chicken mix for 10p each,so I bought 8 of them!
Anyway,it turns out it's a mix you add to mayo & mango chutney,so I made some up & it was revolting! Could hardly taste the curry flavor, just vinigary mango chutney & mayonaise.
So,I was wondering if the was any other way I could use these?...Like as a normal curry sauce?...
This is the website page for it..

I would maybe try adding it to cooked onions as you would a normal cornonation chicken. So oil onions till softened. Add the contents of the sachet. (and maybe some more curry powder if its not strong). Squirt of tomato puree then cool add the chicken and mayo. But no chutney. Maybe some sultanas.
Or yes ust add to any curry when you add spicesOn the way to ZERO!!

ooh you too Spike! I bought my mum some of that and she phoned last night to say it was foul
so she tried mixing it with water and baking chicken in the oven with it to use the other sachet up...and it was more foul :rotfl:
Maybe not one of my better bargains then!0 -

LOL...I've decided to 'donate' it to the ASSISI Animal Sanctuary where I volunteer, the ladies can use them up at the next open day when they make sarnies...Incedentally I've just looked at the stuff I made up,it's gone solid in the fridge so I'd hate to think what it's like in my gut!:eek:0 -
When I make my own Coronation chicken from scratch (well, using curry powder!), I mix the mayo with equal quantities of plain yogurt. That makes it lighter.Cogito, ergo sum.0
