Do I need to get my P45 whilst staying on JSA, but planning to do temping work?

I'm currently on JSA but was looking to do some temping. Should I get my p45 from the job centre if I still intend to remain on JSA. Thanks.

The jobcentre won't issue you a p45 if you ask for one.
You only get issued a P45 once you cancel your JSA claim or at the start of a new tax year.
(I called up to ask for one last week and that is the response i got)0 -

So how do I avoid getting put on the wrong tax code? Cheers0 -
Complete a P46.
However if you do 16hrs or more in any signing week you have to sign off.0
