  • Only just had a chance to log on this evening - and noticed a sparkly new thread. Thank you FK (don't know if I'm going to catch up on the old one, I've already missed 40 odd pages on this one).

Anyway, I hope to be able to stick around when all the APG glitch has come to an end and get chatting with more of you.

Tomorrow will be attempting the 'Coke' Shop, will keep an eye out though incase anyone reports it finished.

Sorry can't ignore your post;)What is the silliness that you mean, this is exactly how the thread was before the APG glitch which is why it's on the "gone board" because we chatted about mundane and inane stuff so it was relegated here;)

Banter, pics of pets, randomness and dinners, hugs, la ughter and tears thats what elite 11+ threads are made of.

Its back to the way it was and I for one feel right at home :D

    Thankyou Lala! :T
This was an Elite thread. We looked for Elite bargains. But we were a family, not a business as it has become! I am a newbie!! I have NOTHING whatsoever against newbies! What I do resent is people who want people to do all the work for them so they can make as much money as quickly as possible with as little effort as possible, and who treat this thread like a business transaction, there to make as much money as possible! I lurked for a long time! This thread is about so much more than that!!!
  • sorry am late ...was trying to catch up on the silliness ......................now THATS what this thread has always been about!

was it rooted who mentioned we had all missed one of our members needing support? please can u let me know who - I def missed most of the last thread and would hate to think we didnt support someone

    oh and ......hello nutters !!!!!!!

Thats brilliant - love it :T:T:T

this pic has really made me smile - sooo funny :D
I totally agree with you - I too have been on MSE for a number of years dipping in and out occassionally. I have lurked for a while until I knew what I was doing and have finally worked out how to post receipts details which I find very usefull so want people to benefit from mine.

The comments on here about all the repeat questions which would have cut the thread by half if people had just looked back - then we have a new thread with lots of sillyness on it which has taken up half of the thread already.

I thought we were all trying to be nice to Newbies - sorry if you feel I am talking nonsence just ignore me that is the easiest way, the same for all the repeat questions.

why who has not been nice to newbies?? we were all new once and I have never seen a newbie being made to feel unwelcome on here (or coupon drivel)!!

now I have missed something....and what is the sillyness? haven't seen any of that either

Jamsponge, your poems are fantastic, keep them going!

My dad taught me this one when I was little, guess who thought it was the real version of hey diddle diddle and sang it on her first day at nursery?

    Hey diddle diddle,
the cat did a piddle all over the bathroom mat
the little dog laughed to see such fun
and piddled all over the cat!

    We sang
Hey diddle diddle Angie did a piddle
    all over the kitchen floor
Little Jim laughed to see such fun so Angie did a little bit more.

Had my kids (Angie and Jim) in stitches every time.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
