  • If people are so sad they need to run away because 'their' precious little forum isn't to their liking then so be it, start a new thread titled 'Only post softly nicey stuff that I like'!!!

That is one way to look at it. Another is how about you set up your own thread so you can chat/post alongside like minded people?

By the way I am not trying to be funny with you, I am simply posing an alternative view point to yours.

I believe the glitch scenario has happened in the past and the supermarket involved closed down the ' offer ' that the glitch was centred around , the same thing might and probably will happen with the A glitch .

As far as the thread closing , I guess we'll have to worry about that when it happens , i find it's best to worry about things that have happened and not dwell on things that might happen (just my viewpoint) as it adds a lot of extra stress into what is basicly a simple life .

Many thanks for your thoughts , ideas etc .

    I can't see A's endi g a 3f2 promo in W or T

You might find some cheapo trigger items might start going oos on a.com and msm.com but that doesnt always make a difference and suppliers will be peeved if that tactic was tried

Does anyone else wonder if this was all ingeniously engineered by ambrosia to boost sales? :rotfl:

    Morning all:

On the subject of crisps (again - can you tell I am on a diet!), Tudor crisps are a blast from the past. My personal favourite were their spring onion crisps made into a sandwich with thick white bread and loads of butter.

Tudor Spring Onion - my fav - when I sent to the movies they were my special treat as a child ! Would love some now - cupboards are bursting with walkers and they just won't cut it !

Seabrook - spring onion are tasty too - but we don't get them over here:(

    Morning everyone,

just read your post magicowan, I totally understand the bin search, if it was me I would take the entire contents home and rake through at my house, perhaps take some bin bags or a big box with you (if it's loose) chuck it all in your car(or some one else's) then you won't be worried about the window twitchers. I would also do this in broad daylight so it doesn't look dodgy(if this makes sense). If you don't take the oppurtunity while you can it will be too late once the bin men call.
Good luck I hope you find something that makes it worthwhile as what's junk to one is treasure to another.:)
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.

What error message if any are you getting? Are you sure it's not because you can't post anything yet as you're new on this site? I believe there is a certain number of posts you have to make before you can post pics. Also, you have to be a member for a certain number of days. Don't know how many posts or days you have to have under your belt though.

Thank you very much for that info:)

My opinion, for what it's worth:

A couple of weeks ago I called Henlans to task for making a fuss instore and calling attention to himself. He shot me down. Since then he has consistently raised his profile even higher - for him , the joy is not in saving money but in 'getting one over on Asda'.

His sole saving grace has been his willingness to take a chance on each new glitch, from which he has shared his results and we have benefitted. But IMO that has been outweighed by his unpleasant attitude, his bragging, and his rudeness to several people, FK, Lesleysanderson and LadyLeenie in particular.

He has shared nothing of himself. I know nothing of his family, their news, his hopes and dreams, any of it. He is simply not interested in anything apart from screwing Asda over, and he expressed that himself with the words 'when this glitch is over, I'll still be here, watching for the next deal'. Not 'I'll still be here, with you lot, talking tripe and doing quizzes and being friends'. It's not about that for him.

Therefore I for one will welcome the end of the glitch because all the people who are only on this thread seeking APG info will disperse.

In the meantime, my intent is to not mention the APG any further except in the subject of wombling, and to not respond to any further APG talk. If I can find the ignore function, I'll be utilising it.

    Now, for the serious business:

3dogs, look after yourself. Every day is a blessing.
Fairclaire - glad to hear things are ticking along. Thinking of you.
Snap Ant & Fourp - hope things are ok with you.
Welcome home Westy, please drag HC in here (by the **lls if necessary).

ETA: Oh and well done Mrs Bartolozzi, I'm languishing in second place on the quiz thanks to your speedy mouse finger!

Tyzer , click the quick link tab above the screen , click edit options , when this opens and on the left is a tab stating along the lines of ' edit ignore list ' , you can add who ever you want but don't forget to hit the save tab .

My list is growing by the day .

As long as its comfy he'll sleep literally anywhere. By comfy I mean flat. He hates being all bunched up.

Sleep comes naturally to him....its the awake bit that he seems to have trouble with.

Sleep patterns often change between 6 and 9 weeks as that is the period they move out of the newborn stage and after affects (endorfins etc.) from the labour wear off. It's not always the case but it can happen.

Where has all this talk of a cap come from? is it confirmed or is it just that one manager mentioned it to someone on here and it has got bigger - is it confirmed from Asda?

Managers have been saying all week that "it will end tomorrow" and it hasnt.

    just wondering[/QUOT

Thats what I would like to know! Its a bit hard to tell what is confirmed and what is rumour (bit like H's infamous'list')

This is exactly what Ive been trying to figure out, reading the messages backwards and forwards from last night ...

I suppose we just have to assume that this is the last weekend and figure out exactly what we do need to buy. And at least the APGS we have are valid for a month

I am thinking back to when t made dramatic changes to its JTD and MOC policies, how rapidly changes were implemented.

Also I am a bit concerned about the new Asda tv and newspaper basket adverts - lots about how cheap they are but nothing about APG system

did i mention 3 for 2 or trigger items ?
My remark was aimed at the old Tesco offer that was replaced when others abused the system.
