Chewing nuts:eek::eek:They would pull your fillings as well as your teeth out, I used to love them but not if it was cold because then they'd be extra hard!!
My dads works (British Steel Corp) used to lay on a bus and a pantomime visit each Xmas, we got given a box of quality streets and a carton of kia-ora I used to swap all the chocs in the quality street with the other kids for their toffee penny, I had at least 3 of my first teeth pulled out with those flaming sweets0 -

I'm here and I'm fine. Thanks so much for asking. I'm reading bits whilst trying to make lists for shopping tomorrow. I'm getting out for a couple hours:T. I haven't got out all week so am planning 3 shops in 2 stores tomorrow.
My OH is ok ish. Sometimes he almost seems back to normal, others it like having another kid in the house. He's a bit up and down. Worst problem is that he won't go out....anywhere! well, except into the garden. This was a massive problem before he went into hospital and hasn't got any better. I have spoken to his CMH nurse this morning and he's going to see what he can do to help with it. It's bleeding hard work:(. Im still wary of leaving him on his own for too long, so I'm sort of stuck in as well. One of his mates coming to see him tomorrow so I can get out when he's here. Do us both good I think, we've been married over 20 years and never spent this much time together ever!
Anyway we plodding along so to speak. Thanks again for asking.
Tinyshoes sending hugs to you:A. Sounds as if you need one
rchddap, your little baby is gorgeous. Baby pics always cheer me up, actually all the pics do. dogs, cats, FKs amazing pics and all the fruit and veg.
Hope everyone else is well:). I'm not saying much but I'm here and reading whilst I can
Hi fairclaire,
Good to hear from you, and glad that you are getting a bit of time to do shopping but it must be hard. You sound like you are doing really well though, and it is really good that OH's mate is coming around. As you say it will be good for you both. When you are together all the time it gets hard to know what to talk about.
Do you think that his mate may be able to get him to go out?
take care Claire and dont take on too much yourself .
Sending you hugs ((hugs)))When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think
"oh carp what is she up to now!"0 -

Gavin Henson. He's quite small when you see him in real life. He thinks the world of himself.0 -
