As a "newbie" I feel a bit sad reading posts like this. :(

I have been on MSE since 2007, but am new to the Elite threads.
I haven't asked any questions about APG and have spent many hours reading & contributing when I can.

Sorry, Celebrate if this is an ironic or jokey post, I don't know you all well enough to know if it's serious or not?

I want to keep contributing and getting to know you all but am feeling a bit unwelcome with some of these "newbie" comments? Weren't we all newbies once? :(

hi mutley please refer to my last post

apologies if i caused offence, i don't own the thread lol and anyone can post !!!!!

it was actually a tongue in cheek comment because of all the regulars posting/moaning about newbies asking questions lol

please feel free to search my old posts i [STRIKE]do believe[/STRIKE] i haven't moaned or asked anyone to say please or thankyou once

    welcome to the thread

Have a hug from me (()); if it makes you feel any better i didn't get a pm date for tonight either. ;) Though I am usually in bed.

I too have been reading and digesting, there is such alot of information and sometimes it does all jumble up I have to say.

Its hard breaking into a thread where people are long standing and know each other well. I am sure they do want us newbies.

We can only try and do our best after all we only want to save some money. I did have a successful online shop earlier even though my rice pot was out of stock.;)

It was only my 2nd shop but I did feel chuffed, I lead a sheltered life. :o

You take care and I am sure all will be fine, if not we have Red Fox to sort us all out, in a nice way Red Fox. :)

That's not really very fair. Yes the same questions are asked over and over again, but you don't have to answer them, you can just skim to the next post.

There were some very generous posters who spent a lot of time and energy trying to be helpful to new and inexperienced posters, providing lists and explanations very much in the spirit of the old DTD threads which is where most of the regulars first appeared and learned the tricks of the glitches. It is a complicated glitch and why shouldn't everyone benefit?

  • And REDFOX, you certainly are not the gestapo or this thread would not be around. You are simply a gentle hand on the steering wheel, occasionally putting the thread back on check :)

    Very well put!!
